In December 2018, the openIMIS Initiative organised a panel discussion on data confidentiality during the re:publica conference in Accra. Since the openIMIS Software is a powerful tool for processing very sensitive data of individual people, the initiative has a keen interest in promoting a culture of responsible use of this data.
