Developers Committee

Developers Committee

The Developers Committee is the technical arm of the openIMIS Product Group. The main responsibilities of the Developers Committee focus on the coordination of any development activities and the maintenance of the community platforms:

Overview

The Developers Committee meets on several occasions:

  • Weekly Calls of the Developers Committee:

  • Gumzo ya mwezi:

  • Special Meetings of the Developers Committee: Topics that require more detailed discussion are spun off into special calls, in order not to overload the regular meetings.

  • Events: The members of the developers committee also participate in global events organized by the openIMIS committe or other organisations.

  • Security Testing : Calls to discuss results of penetration tests

  • Standardisation Calls : Discussion with partner organisations about workflows and data formats

  • Project Portfolio : Project deep dives in detail- currently the Interoperability sandbox

  • Releases : The maintenance and bugfixing team meet to check release status and budgets

The Developers committee consists of all the developers that contribute to the further development of the openIMIS software. Find a list of past and present members in the Developers Hall of Fame.

To follow up on the development process, it’s best to start with the Product Roadmap .
