Event: Medica 2018
On November, 14th 2018, the team from GNU Health, Dr. Luis Falcon and Dr. Axel Braun, showcased the GNU Health suite at the Medica exhibition in Düsseldorf, Germany:

@Uwe Wahser visited the presentation and took some time to discuss the technical philosophy behind GNU Health and options for a future co-operation. It seems that GNU Health is gaining momentum as an integrated Hospital Information System in the international health space and further expands into a networked inter-organisational health information platform. Since GNU Health is able to communicate entirely through HL7 FHIR APIs according to the team, the suite seems to be a promising candidate to interoperate with openIMIS.
