The Interoperability and Integration Module is a crucial component of the SR, designed to facilitate seamless data exchange and integration with various external systems within the broader social protection ecosystem. Its primary purpose is to enable efficient communication, data sharing, and coordination between the SR and other relevant systems, enhancing the overall effectiveness of social protection programs.

Key components include:

1. Targeting Algorithm: Enables advanced beneficiary selection and data access.

2. Data Exchange Protocols: Establishes standardized protocols for secure data exchange.

3. Alternative Data Sources: Facilitates integration with non-traditional data sources.

4. Core Program Data Exchange: Manages data sharing with core social protection programs.

5. External Data Access: Provides interfaces for external systems to access SR data.

6. Search API: Enables real-time data querying capabilities.

7. Notification API: Facilitates targeted communication based on SR data.

Sub-components:

• Post-Shock Beneficiary Selection and Data Access (SR-017, Optional): Implements a data sharing protocol and asynchronous API for external shock response systems to rapidly access and analyze registrant data for crisis response.

• Remote Sensing Integrator (SR-021, Optional): Enables integration and processing of data from remote sensing sources to inform certain processes.

• Data Export Interface (SR-022, Optional): Allows export of comprehensive household and individual data in a standardized format compatible with the Multi-Program Eligibility Framework.

• Data Collection Tool Integration (SR-023, Optional): Develops APIs to integrate with popular data collection tools (e.g., ODK) to facilitate field data collection.

• GIS Integration (SR-024, Optional): Provides integration with Geographic Information Systems to enrich registrant data with geographic risk information.

• Real-time Data Access (SR-025, Core): Provides a secure API for real-time data access by the Multi-Program Eligibility Framework.

• Targeted Communication Manager (SR-026, Optional): Provides an API for external communication systems to access relevant registrant data for designing and implementing tailored outreach campaigns.

• Secure System Interconnection Service (SR-029, Optional): Implements a secure system interconnection service with strong authentication mechanisms to facilitate secure data exchange with other authorized systems in the social protection landscape.

1. Users: System administrators, program managers, data analysts, field workers

   1. User authenticates into the SR system

   2. Navigates to the Interoperability and Integration module

   3. Selects desired integration or data exchange function

   7. Uses integrated data for analysis, targeting, or communication purposes
