Update Management Module (SR)

Description:

The Update Management module is a crucial component of the Social Registry (SR), designed to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of registrant information. Its primary purpose is to detect and process changes in registrant data, maintain data currency, and facilitate real-time updates across the social protection ecosystem. 

Key components include: 

  1. Change Detection System: Monitors and identifies changes in registrant information. 

  2. Update Processing Engine: Manages the processing and validation of updates. 

Sub-components: 

  • Dynamic Update Processor (SR-027, Core): Implements a system with notification capabilities to inform connected systems about real-time updates to registrant information and trigger reassessment of eligibility. 

  • Eligibility Update Receiver (SR-028, Optional): Provides a mechanism to receive and incorporate eligibility assessment results from the Multi-Program Eligibility Framework. 

User Journey: 

  1. Users: Program administrators, data managers, registrants 

  2. Process: Data updating, change detection, eligibility reassessment 

  3. Business Process:

    1. System detects changes in registrant information (automated) or registrant submits updates

    2. Dynamic Update Processor validates and processes the changes

    3. System notifies relevant connected systems about the updates

    4. Connected systems reassess eligibility based on updated information

    5. Eligibility Update Receiver incorporates new eligibility assessments into the SR

    6. Data managers review update logs and manage any conflicts or issues

    7. Registrants receive confirmation of successful updates
