Aim & Objectives

According to the wishes of the participants from https://openimis.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/OP/pages/1575845994 , we are having 6 monthly calls to stay connected and discuss further activities.


  1. News from all the teams (e.g. 30 minutes in total)

    1. mTomady:

      1. looking at joint project with openIMIS in Madagascar in the next couple of weeks

      2. interest in use of medical ontologies and making use of medical data in systems

    2. openIMIS:

      1. openIMIS implementation fund is being established to support potential implementation partners

      2. investigating opportunities to extend openIMIS to schemes beyond health insurance e.g. social protection

      3. developments: migration from MS .NET continued, formal sector enhancement, AI module

    3. OpenHIE

  2. Which format do we want for these calls?

    1. continue on a regular basis as is

    2. needs to be planable in advance (calls were scheduled eternally), send reminders one month ahead

    3. announce this call in OpenHIE monthly calls

  3. Which activities should we do until April (if any)?

    1. Hackathon (only in person, if possible)

    2. invite this group to the next developers workshop
