Summary
The international workshop of the openIMIS Implementers Committee will be held in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, from 15-16 February 2019. This event brings together new partners, as the openIMIS Initiative is growing. The goal of this two day workshop is to ensure that new partners are familiarized with the mission, vision and the history of the openIMIS Initiative. Another overall objective of the workshop is the dialogue between the partners, gaining insights into the national planning and defining of roles.

Most participants of the Implementers Committee Workshop will also take part at the Symposium “Health Insurance for the Informal Sector in Tanzania” taking place on February, 12th and 13th in Dar es Salaam. A special add-on of the Symposium is a field trip on the 14th of February to a health facility using openIMIS.

1. Impression collection: Form small groups (3ppl each) and have a conversation on guiding questions. Note the main points on cards. - 10min

· Which challenges did you observe?
2. Form two larger groups (15ppl each) - meet and present cards from your small group. Cluster (drop similar ones) on pinboard and select presenter -15min
3. Both groups present their results in plenum - 5min each, 10min

CP: Close with lead over to the main topic of the WS - oI initiative and how it works on the further development and implementation of oI after the coffee break.
