The primary function of the openIMIS Stakeholder Committee is to provide advice to support the overall outcomes of the openIMIS Initiative. The Stakeholder Committee is expected to provide guidance to the initiative in growing the community of practice, building a robust yet flexible product and increasing implementations of the tool for managing various types of social protection schemes.
Members of the Stakeholder Committee ensure that the Initiative’s overall vision reflects in its activities, and the direction of the initiative remains efficient and effective. The openIMIS Stakeholder Committee will be established in 2022. A call was inaugurated in April 2024., (following the process of a Call for Expression of Interest to join the Stakeholder Committee will be launched soon).

Stakeholder Committee Meetings
The Stakeholder Committee will meet twice at least once a year (virtually or face to face). The minutes A short document of the meetings will be uploaded to this Wiki. .
In addition to Meetings for the Stakeholder Committee Members, public openIMIS Stakeholder Conferences will be conducted once a year to engage a wider audience and inform them about updates of the openMIS initiative. The first such meeting is planned for end of 2024.
