We are currently in the process of developing of new self-paced online e-learning course on openIMIS (initially focusing on the use case of a health financing scheme).
You can find here all related material and discussions on various topics such as the comparison of online platforms and the definition of the target group.

Online platform criteria
We are currently looking at three different platforms (atingi.org, socialprotection.org and Moodle) but we would appreciate it if you have any other suggestions. Ideally we would like to add 1-2 more to the list. We also have a list of specific criteria we are considering when comparing the platforms, which includes:
whether it is open source or not.
the intended target audience for the platform
the functionality (ease of use from the provider and consumer perspective)
languages available on the platform
what type of certification and tests the platform offers

Target audience
We have agreed that we want to define one specific user profile that we will use as a pilot for developing the trainings and then expand to other user profiles if time and capacity allows. Our understanding is that the regional hubs would be targets of interest however, we need to nail down, within the regional hubs, what kind of user profile we want to direct the course at. It would be helpful to understand a bit more the pool of competencies found within the regional hubs (health financing/economics experts, medical experts, IT experts etc.) and if they have any preferences. Do we want them to in the end have a basic knowledge of the software or should they be able to actually advise on implementation?
