Could you provide some detail on the difference between invoice/bill creation 'From policy' and 'From Contract' ? Is it a distinction for informal/formal sector or is there more ?
we introduced the contract in the in group insurance / formal sector development, a contract is the generating element for the policy once payed, a contract might concerns many insuree for duration that may not be equals to the policy duration. the contract workflow goes that way : contract approved : invoice is created; invoice payment received : contract is active and creates the related policies
for the unformal sector the policy is created directly, so to be able to integrated it with financial system we had to create an invoice from it, But ideally the unformal sector should use contract too.
