The Technical Advisory Group (TAG) assesses the openIMIS Initiative, evaluates strategic developments, proposes advises on system architecture and new functional requirements. The members of the TAG will be nominated by the Steering Group consisting of a Core Group and additional
Meetings
The TAG meets virtually according to current needs of the Initiative. These can be specific meetings with a selected number of experts or integrated into regular committee meetings of the developers and the implementers.
Membership
The TAG consists of invited experts depending on the discussed topics.The TAG meets 2-3 times per year. Members are not paid for their work. Their main activities include commenting on strategic developments and functions of the release cycle. The Program Coordination desk Desk recommends members experts for the TAG to the Steering Group. The Steering Group then officially invites members (for a 2-year term).Depending on the nature of the currently discussed issues, other associated members can be invited on a case by case basis. The TAG consists of members coming from the following backgrounds:
