Module 2: Setting up and localise the software and support structure for openIMIS platform
Topics to be covered:
- Session 1: Installation of openIMIS server-side components (database, web application and windows services)
- Session 2: Country localization localisation (web application level localizationlocalisation, database-level localizationlocalisation, and building of registers)
- Session 3: Installation of mobile phone server-side component (REST API) and mobile applications localization applications localisation (application-level localizationlocalisation and database-level localizationlocalisation)
Teaching Mode: Each session will be undertaken on different days. The format will be a classroom taught session undertaken virtually and at the end of all the sessions a case study as an assignment will be provided. All content will be organized and set up on the Wiki (text, slides, videos, etc.), . Wiki context will be used during each session which will be recorded and then also placed on the Wiki as a training resource.
