The type and amount of support provided through the CIF is decided on a case by case basis. As a rule, the Fund directly covers specific costs (e.g. software customisationcustomization, capacity development, equipment), rather than providing monetary support to scheme operators. It does not support the costs of implementing openIMIS on a continuous basis.

The CIF welcomes applications from operators of health financing or other social protection schemes interested in using openIMIS to manage their scheme’s business processes.
