Aim & Objectives

Excerpt

Last year we had a number of discussions with you all on possible co-operations and overlaps of our projects. Somehow we didn’t take the discussion any further since then, although there seem to be some small joint projects coming up here and there.

We’d like to use the momentum and have a more practical look at options for further co-operations. We thought of having a technically oriented get-together to have a deeper look at these options. We don’t want to limit ideas on the content, yet, neither about the format nor the finance ;-) so feel free to brainstorm in the space at the bottom of the page. We’ll surely have a call to iron this out a bit more after we have collected some initial ideas and transform it into schedule. The important thing is that we’ll get out something that we all can profit from.

Specific objectives could be:

  • get to know each other

  • get to know each others projects

  • get to know each others products on a technical level

  • identify overlaps, gaps and possible synergies

Possible outputs could be:

  • A concept paper on possible synergies and next steps

  • Demo of two or more interoperable systems

  • … you name it today.

Additional topic Requests:

Feel free to add sessions in a new line at the end of the table. If you feel that a certain session is especially important, kindly add your name to the supporters. You can also propose a moderator / presenter or volunteer for a session in the 'Who' column. We'll then see how to best slot it into the above schedule. If you feel responsible to take over a session as moderator, you might also want to create a sub-page for the session.
