Note: The instructions described here applies to openIMIS version 1.3.0 and later.

The minimal requirement to install and use openIMIS in a production environment are: 

  • Windows Server 2012 R2
  • 4 core CPU
  • 8GB RAM
  • 300GB Hard drive
  • Administrator privileges

You can provide a VPS from any hosting provider (e.g. Azure, AWS) or create your own server backbone.


For development and testing purposes, please follow the minimal requirements on the following tools:
