Research Associate (f/m/d) in the field of Digital Public Health / Global Health Informatics (100%)
Your Responsibilities
You will contribute to the adaptation and validation of an evaluation framework for digital public health interventions in low-resource settings.
You will coordinate research activities with international project partners in Germany, Tanzania, South Africa, and Rwanda.
You will support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of qualitative and quantitative studies, including systematic literature reviews, focus groups, Delphi methods, and case studies.
You will analyze research data using mixed-methods approaches as well as data science methods for pattern recognition and the evaluation of digital health applications.
You will contribute to scientific publications, conference presentations, workshops, and international dissemination activities.
The opportunity to pursue a Ph.D. in the field of Digital Public Health / Global Health Informatics is expressly provided.
Your Profile
You hold a very good master’s degree (or equivalent) qualifying for a Ph.D. in Medical Informatics, Digital Health, Public Health, Global Health, Health Sciences, or a related field.
You have an interest in digital health technologies, public health, and international research collaborations.
Knowledge of qualitative and/or quantitative research methods is an advantage.
Experience in the field of Digital Health, Global Health, or the evaluation of health interventions is desirable.
You work independently, in a structured manner, and are team-oriented.
Business-level proficiency in spoken and written English is required; knowledge of German is an advantage.
Initial experience with academic writing and publishing is desirable.
