Research Associate (f/m/d) in the field of Digital Public Health / Global Health Informatics (100%)

Your Responsibilities

• You will contribute to the adaptation and validation of an evaluation framework for digital public health interventions in low-resource settings.

• You will coordinate research activities with international project partners in Germany, Tanzania, South Africa, and Rwanda.

• You will support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of qualitative and quantitative studies, including systematic literature reviews, focus groups, Delphi methods, and case studies.

• You will analyze research data using mixed-methods approaches as well as data science methods for pattern recognition and the evaluation of digital health applications.

• You will contribute to scientific publications, conference presentations, workshops, and international dissemination activities.

• The opportunity to pursue a Ph.D. in the field of Digital Public Health / Global Health Informatics is expressly provided.

Your Profile

• You hold a very good master’s degree (or equivalent) qualifying for a Ph.D. in Medical Informatics, Digital Health, Public Health, Global Health, Health Sciences, or a related field.

• You have an interest in digital health technologies, public health, and international research collaborations.

• Knowledge of qualitative and/or quantitative research methods is an advantage.

• Experience in the field of Digital Health, Global Health, or the evaluation of health interventions is desirable.

• You work independently, in a structured manner, and are team-oriented.

• Business-level proficiency in spoken and written English is required; knowledge of German is an advantage.

• Initial experience with academic writing and publishing is desirable.
