Accommodation 

Rooms are available at a negotiated rate at The Malla Hotel (Lekhnath Sadak, Thamel, Kathmandu 44600). Rooms at the negotiated rate will only be available until 31 May 2026. 

If you have not received information about how to book your room(s) with the negotiated rate, please reach out to sophia.schubert@giz.de to receive the instructions. 

For hotel policies on check-in/check-out, reservation and cancelation, please refer here . Additional costs due to cancellation, early check-in or late check-out will NOT be covered by GIZ.  

Airport Transfer  

Participants will likely arrive at the Tribhuvan International Airport KTM), located approximately 30-45 minutes by car from the venue. 

The hotel offers airport pick-up and drop-off service, which you will need to book along with the room booking by contacting the hotel. Transfer costs amount to USD 25 (net) per transfer.

Alternatively, you can use airport taxi available at the airport. They offer standard rates by distance and are usually cheaper than hotel-arranged transfer. You can contact pre-paid taxi service outside of the airport arrival building.
