Record of discussion
We are currently looking at three different platforms (http://atingi.org , http://socialprotection.org and Moodle) but we would appreciate it if you have any other suggestions. Ideally we would like to add 1-2 more to the list. We also have a list of specific criteria we are considering when comparing the platforms, which includes:
whether it is open source or not.
the intended target audience for the platform
the functionality (ease of use from the provider and consumer perspective)
languages available on the platform
what type of certification and tests the platform offers/supports
maintenance requirements
cost
sustainability (dependence on funding)
