Individuals (User Manual)

The Individuals Page is a core component of the Social Protection module in openIMIS. It enables users to search, enroll, update, and manage records for individuals who are current or potential beneficiaries under various programs or benefit plans.

Page Overview

The Individuals page is divided into two main sections:

  1. Search Criteria Panel – for filtering existing individuals

  2. Search Results Panel – for viewing, enrolling, uploading, or managing individuals

Search Criteria Panel

Use this panel to locate individuals in the system using one or more filters:

Field

Description

First Name / Last Name

Search individuals by name (partial or full).

Region / District / Municipality / Village

Narrow the search by administrative location.

Show Deleted

Check to include soft-deleted records in the search results.

Missing Location

Check to search for records that lack complete geographic data.

 

Search Results Panel

This panel displays individuals matching your search filters.

Columns Displayed

Column

Description

First Name / Last Name

Individual’s full name.

Day of Birth

The beneficiary’s date of birth.

Region / District / Municipality / Village

Administrative location data of the individual.

⬆️ You can sort results by clicking the arrow next to each column name.

If no records match the search, you will see “0 Individuals Found.”

 

Tips & Best Practices

  • Use specific search filters (e.g., district and name) to reduce load and improve accuracy.

  • Run deduplication after uploads to clean your data.

  • Always download the latest upload template to ensure field mapping consistency.
