The openIMIS initiative, together with Digital Square offered a co-financing opportunity to further develop openIMIS through Notice C - Modular Transformation of openIMIS in June 2018. The deadline for submitting proposals was July 30 2018.

- Proposal Finalization Phase: September 4–September 18
- Peer Review Committee Review Phase: September 19–October 10
- Board Review: Mid-to-Late November
- Awards Announced: Late November to Early December
