  • Introduction:
    • AeHIN is a collaboration of digital health advocates created by the World Health Organization in 2011 to help Asian countries with digital health development. 
    • It has over 1000+ professionals in eHealth, HIS, and CRVS in 25 countries with 21+ development and implementing partners.
    • Vision: Interoperable digital health systems for universal health coverage and health systems in Asia
    • Mission: Promote learning, resource sharing and knowledge exchange to strengthening digital health through the networking approach
    • It has helped build capacity in the region by laying down national health information foundations: governance, architecture, program management, standards and interoperability (Mind the GAPS Playbook).

    • The Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH) is a world-leading institute in global health with a particular focus on low- and middle-income countries. Associated with the University of Basel, Swiss TPH combines research, services, and education and training at the local, national and international level.
    • About 850 people from 80 nations work at Swiss TPH focusing on infectious and non-communicable diseases, environment, society and health as well as health systems and interventions.
