The Ministry of Health, the Regional Funds for Health Promotion, and health facilities required a new set of business processes to track HIV-related service delivery, claim reimbursements and verify their accuracy. With support from UNFPA and Y-Note, the Ministry of Health has customised openIMIS to manage these processes. The software was rolled out on a pilot basis in the Central and Northern Regions in 2021. German Development Cooperation provides additional financial assistance.
Interoperability
openIMIS is linked to the DHIS2 patient tracker to combine patient data with financial information.
